Shop Cocoa Butter Cream Body Scrub vs. Palmers Cocoa Body Scrub
Body
Shop Cocoa Butter Cream Body Scrub - £13 – Buy HERE
Palmers
Cocoa Body Scrub - £4.99 – Buy HERE
Now the first
difference to point out in these two products is definitely the price.
The Palmers scrub is considerably cheaper. So, is the Body Shop scrub
worth the extra cash?
Pros and Cons of Body
Shop Cocoa Scrub
- Smells divine...
- Very creamy consistency which moisturises the skin.
- Packed full of grit (feels like sand in this one...) so really exfoliates the skin removing all dead skin cells.
- Leaves skin feeling incredibly soft and smelling lovely.
- Don't really have any cons...
Pros and Cons of
Palmers Cocoa Scrub
- Again, smells divine...although I think this smells slightly more 'chocolatey' than the Body Shop one.
- Has a jelly-like consistency. Not as thick or creamy as Body Shop scrub but still moisturises.
- Not as full of grit. This uses crushed cocoa beans which is nice and does polish/exfoliate the skin, but it's not as jam-packed as the Body Shop one.
- Leaves skin feeling soft and smelling sweet.
- Again no glaring cons.
My Verdict?
They are both amazing
products but I think the Body Shop Scrub slightly outweighs the
Palmers one. Mainly because of how thick, creamy and gritty it is.
However, the Palmers scrub is still incredible and does the job more
than fine making skin smooth, soft and smelling delicious all for an
incredible price. So, I definitely will be buying it again, probably
as my regular body exfoliator, and maybe splash out on the Body Shop
Scrub once in a while :P
What body
scrubs/exfoliators do you love? I've never tried a salt scrub
actually so let me know your opinions on those!

The Body Shop scrubs are more expensive but definitely worth it. The mango range smells amazing!!!
